Yoshino Cedar Cutting Board / Plate

This is a Yoshino cedar cutting board purchased in Nara.
It's a thick cutting board with a faint, pleasant cedar scent.

Size: Approx. 34.5 x 22.0 x 2.5 cm

The wood has beautiful grain, and it was purchased for display purposes, so it has never been used for cooking.

However, when I purchased it, I was told:
Cedar is soft, so please do not use it as a cutting board. It's okay to place cheese or other items on it. Please avoid washing with water as much as possible and wipe it clean instead.

It is generally smooth, but there are fine scratches from when it was purchased, and some areas on the edges are rough and unfinished (see photos 3-8).

However, the upper right part of the front is finished along the grain, making it smooth and very pleasant to the touch (see photo 9).

With a thickness of approximately 2.5 cm, this cutting board boasts beautiful wood grain and a substantial feel.

Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about it being stored by an amateur.
I would be happy if someone who appreciates it would purchase it.
