※Hikihaku (引箔) is washi paper used in Nishijin weaving (mainly for high-end obi sashes). Pure silver or gold leaf is used, and there are various techniques such as lacquering, dyeing, firing, and kneading. There are many varieties, and many of the techniques are company secrets, with various names for the techniques.

※This item has been stored at home. As it is old washi paper, please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned after viewing the images.

Would be great for those who like paper items. Can be used for art panels, handmade objects, etc.
