ACME Limited Edition Windan Sofa (BROWN'S BEACH VER.)

ACME Furniture WINDAN SOFA BROWN'S BEACH VER

Selling this sofa as we are upgrading to a larger one due to our growing family.
Purchased at the ACME store in Meguro in 2016.
This is a limited edition model of the popular Windan Sofa, upholstered in fabric from BROWN'S BEACH JACKET.
The fabric is in good condition as it was always used with a cover. The contact points with the floor were also consistently protected with silicone mats, so the overall condition is excellent.
There is one dent on the wooden part. Please refer to the photos for details as this is a used item.

[Beach Jacket Company]
BROWN'S BEACH JACKET was established in 1901 in Massachusetts, USA.
Loved by seamen, hunters, lumberjacks, and workers facing harsh conditions such as strong winds, rain, and cold, its reputation quickly spread from the East Coast across the entire United States.
In modern times, the appeal of American workwear from the 1920s-1930s has been re-evaluated. The popularity of clothing full of functional beauty, which disappeared after the 1960s, has been rekindled, and at the same time, Brown's Beach Jacket has been re-evaluated for its value and is now being reproduced in Japan.
Its unique material, Beach Cloth, is a blend of 27% COTTON and 73% WOOL. Due to the irregular unevenness and texture created by the fabric, it is commonly known as Goma-shio (sesame salt).
