This is a limited edition shell model.
The Center Sardine is the cornerstone jig for Sakura Mas jigging. As its name suggests, it's a center-weighted jig ideal for targeting sardines (iwashi). The basic technique involves soft jerks and falls. With a jerk, it performs a subtle head shake. During the fall, it slides randomly, vibrates, and generally exhibits a subtle horizontal fall that blends with the current. This jig is particularly effective for patterns where fish are exclusively feeding on anchovies (katakuchi iwashi), where the choice of jig directly impacts catch rates. For Sakura Mas fishing, we recommend starting with the Center Sardine and then rotating lures based on whether the fish are responding better to the jerk or the fall.
