Vintage Made in Germany Lucite Grape & Enamel Leaf Brooch  Beautiful vintage German figural brooch featuring a dimensional translucent amber Lucite grape cluster surrounded by richly colored red, green, orange and golden enamel leaves.  This is a particularly striking example of vintage German costume jewelry. The molded translucent grape cluster is raised above layers of detailed stamped metal leaves, giving the brooch substantial dimension and a wonderful three-dimensional grapevine appearance.  The vivid jewel-tone enamel finish creates a gorgeous autumn palette of ruby red, emerald green, amber orange and gold.  The reverse is clearly stamped MADE IN GERMANY.  Similar documented German examples are described as having cold-enamel metal leaf stampings with molded Lucite grape clusters, which is consistent with the construction of this piece.
