Vintage 3D House Hand Painted Needlepoint Canvas Architectural Cottage 1980s

This is such an unusual vintage needlepoint project! Rather than a traditional flat pillow or framed design, this hand-painted canvas appears to have been designed to create a three-dimensional needlepoint house.  The central panel forms the front of a charming white cottage with a bright red roof, blue shutters, flowering beds, clipped green shrubs and a dark front door. Surrounding it are coordinating architectural panels that appear intended to become the sides and roof sections of the finished house. Once stitched, the individual sections could be assembled into a dimensional decorative cottage.  The canvas is unmarked, and I have not found enough information to confidently attribute it to a particular designer or manufacturer.
