Vintage Mid-Century Silver-tone Lined Bow Brooch - Ribbon Brooch

Source unknown Circa: 1950’s ? Silver-tone metal Approx size:  Approx weight No orginal box or packaging   Vintage silver-tone ribbed ribbon bow brooch.  This features an openwork, layered, linear texture where alternating open lines give the illusion of a striped fabric or grooved ribbon gathered together by a polished central band.  Based on the ruler provided in the image, the brooch measures approximately 2 1/4” x 2” inches in width. This specific structured, geometric ribbon design was a highly popular style produced by major mid-to-late 20th-century.  Truly a unique design.  Vintage jewelry has been loved and used, because items are older they may have wear due to age, use and storage. Any obvious flaws will be mentioned or will be visible in pictures.
